New School Timings in Punjab 2022 for Winter from October 2022

New School Timings in Punjab 2022 for Winter will be effective from mid of October on 15th October or 17th October 2022 Monday. Dr. Murad Raas Minister for Schools will tweet about the new timings in Schools.

Punjab School Education Department usually changes the school timings across all of Punjab in the month of October for Winter Season. These timings are effective till 15th April of Next Year which is 2023.

From the previous year’s notifications, it is clear that school timings are changed from 16th October 2022 for all schools of Punjab including private and public.

The new school timings are 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM for all girls schools in Punjab and new school timings are 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM for all boys schools in Punjab. This time is for Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Friday all schools will close at 12 PM.

The insaf afternoon school’s new timings will be 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and Saturday for the 1st Shift and 1 PM to 5 PM for the 2nd shift schools.

Insaf afternoon schools and Double Shift schools will follow the new timings on Friday of 8:30 Am to 12:00 PM for the 1st shift and 2:30 Pm to 5:30 PM for the 2nd Shift.

There can be little change from the department keeping in view the current situation of the winter season and smog problems in Punjab.

The previous year’s notification is shared for information. The new notification will be available when School Education Department Punjab will issue it.

CM Punjab Pervez Elahi tweeted about the Smog Problem in Punjab During Winter Season. In his tweet, CM Punjab issued a warning to the agriculture sector that they can not burn the waste of crops. Otherwise, Strict action will be taken against them on merit.

Winter Holidays in Schools December 2022

As the new timings for schools are announced during the winter season. The winter holidays will be announced in December 2022 and January 2023. Last year Murad Raas announced that there will be winter holidays in 2 phases. This year it will be decided on the basis of Cold Weather conditions.
